Civar Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Civar (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile game.

We do not track your location in the background unless explicitly enabled for gameplay features.

We do not require real names.

 If you have any issues or suggestions, please email evercole6@gmail.com. Civar uses your fine location to provide quality gameplay, however we never store your direct location. The most that is stored is if you have recently interacted with a tile, it will store an id of that tile for up to an hour. That tile id is associated with a location, but not your current location. However nobody but you has access to these locations. So just be aware that rough locations are stored but never accessible by anybody else.  You will need to input an email address in order to create an account, it does not need to be your real email. Just one that you remember if you ever wish to log in on another device.
